- Tie rope to eye
of one hook. Insert tent pole (folded in half if necessary), trekking
pole, or long stick into cup. Lift hook onto tree limb.
- Thread the rope
through eye of other hook-this acts like a pulley. Lift hook into another
tree, leaving plenty of slack in rope.
- Attach food bag
to the rope hanging between the two trees. Hoist bag by pulling on loose
end of rope. Tie rope to tree. DONE!
- Hanging food
between two trees will normally require at least 100ft (30m) of rope.
